2008-09 Visitations
East Kilbride have adopted a strategy of dividing the Club into six groups of members.
Every month a group is drawn from the hat and then that group draws the name of a local club which they have to visit within four weeks.
3rd October Past President Jim Moretti reported that he had visited the Rotary Clubs of Eastwood, Paisley and East Kilbride Kittoch over the past 4 weeks. Although still in Stornoway Henry Doig advised the Club that he had attended the Rotary Club of Stornoway

Club Visited Eastwood Rotary Club on the 26th of June 2008 East Kilbride Rotary Club menbers who made the visitation were George McGraw, Roddy Shanks,Willie Mack and Ian Macpherson. Unfortunately no picture taken
On the 8th of October a visitation was made by John Cardno, Frank McLuskey and Ben Miloudi to the Rotary Club of Queens Park and they had a very good visit.
Past President Ian Macpherson visited Glasgow on Tuesday 14th October where he was the invited speaker. He reported back to the Club that his talk was of the highest standard.

Ian Craig and George McGraw visited Cambuslang Club on 20 Aug. and gave a talk on Let Us Shine.
Tuesday 21st October Roddy Shanks visited Dingwall Rotary Club
Rotarians Brian Wood, Alan Jenkinson and John Murphy visited The Rotary Club of Renfrew on 11th November and brought back greetings from President Martin Moir and the Renfrew members - no photo unfotunately.
Frank, Ray, Roddy, Ben and Tom attended District Rotary meeting at Erskine on 12 November.
Roddy Shanks, Barry Wood, Jim Anderson and George Mcgraw made their schedule visit to Kilmarnock Rotary Club on the 18th of December where they warmly received
A party of 10 from the club supported East Kilibride Kittoch's Burns supper on the 27th January 2009. RIBI President & District Governor were in attendance. A sum of around £500 was raised for the fight against polio plus
Ian Macpherson was the principle Burns speaker at Kelvin Rotary Clubs Burns Lunch
President Frank, Alan Rae,Jack Blackwood, George McGraw and Roddy Shanks made a visit to Strathaven Rotary Club on the 3rd of February 2009
