East Kilbride Rotary Club
The Club were privileged to have author Paul Henke as their speaker on Friday the 4th of March 2011 who was speaking not so much on the books that he has written such as The Seventh Circle, The Tears of War and Peace and his latest book Turmoil but on his life from being brought up in the Welsh valley's progressing to be a navel bomb disposal officer then progressing to become an author. All in all an interesting life for you young man from Wales who has the natural ability to spin a yarn and put it on paper. Vote of Thanks was given by Past President John McCafferty
"East Kilbride's Rotary Club guest speaker on Friday 18th March 2011 was Judy Lee from Peters Seafood Restaurant in the Village.
Judy gave a very interesting talk on the wide range of seafood used in the restaurant, how it is sourced and when particular fish are in season.
Judy also spoke on the best ways of cooking fish in order that it is presented at the high standard she sets in the restaurant.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Rotarian John McKie of Cooks Restaurant."
