King of Clubs from Andrew Ferguson

A few facts and figures about the King of Clubs.
Since the draw was introduced at the Presidential handover on the 28th June 2003, we have had 15 winning draws and 13 winners.
Liam Donnelly has won three times, George Ferguson has won twice and a number of one time winners, Alan Jenkinson, Henry Doig, Jim Moretti, Ian Wiseman, David Taylor, John Murphy, Jack Blackwood, David Brown, George Gunn and John Morning .

In just over 10 years that the draw has been running, the total prize fund paid out has been £6,189.93 and the monies donated to charity has been £12,356.93 a combined total of £18,546.86.
The biggest win was £1,000.90 and the smallest win was £13.00. The best average is John Morning, one draw and one win, and who can forget Alan Jenkinson drawing the King of Clubs from a full deck of 52 cards the week after Liam Donnelly had won the first prize.

As far as the number of draws that people have made it is quite interesting and although I do not have all the names of the people making the draw as I did not start collecting the names until the first win by Liam on the 20th February 2004 and when I am not at the meeting there were occasions when I couldn’t find out who made the draw so there are six blanks, but in general terms the names are shown below with the number of draws they have had:

The King of Clubs has been a lot of fun over the 10 years and has raised a lot of monies and I would like to thank you all for your support over the years and look forward to the continued success moving forward.
